About us

We have recorded and checked more than 24,700 individual facts about the brokers on this site - around ninety for every one of them, compiled the same way so that any two can be compared on the same terms.

What this site is

Top 100 Forex Brokers is a reference database rather than a blog. Every broker on it has the same fields recorded against it - the licence and its number, the spread and commission, the platforms, the markets, the funding routes, the support hours - so that two brokers can be compared on the same terms rather than on whichever facts each one chose to advertise.

That structure is the point. Most broker comparisons are written one broker at a time, which makes them easy to write and impossible to compare: one review mentions the compensation scheme, the next does not, and a reader cannot tell whether the second broker has none or whether nobody checked. Here an unknown is recorded as an unknown and says so on the page.

Where the figures come from

The broker's own published material in the first instance - its legal pages, its account comparison, its fee schedule - recorded with the date it was compiled, and checked against the relevant regulator's public register where one exists. Licence numbers are recorded as the register states them, not as the marketing page paraphrases them.

Any broker can claim its listing and propose corrections to it. Corrections are made on evidence: a link to the term as published, or a register entry.

What a score is, and is not

One number out of 100, averaging six assessments - regulation, trading costs, platforms, markets, support and education. It is identical across all of our sites; only the way it is displayed changes.

A score is a starting point, not a recommendation. Two brokers a point apart are not meaningfully different, and two brokers on the same score can suit completely different people. What you trade, how often, and where you live matter more than the ranking does.

Who we are not

We are not a broker, an introducing broker, or a money manager. We do not hold client funds, execute trades, or offer personal advice, and nothing published here is a personal recommendation to buy or sell anything. If you want advice about your own circumstances, that has to come from someone licensed to give it in your country.

Getting in touch

Corrections, additions and complaints all reach the same inbox: hello@top100forexbrokers.com. If you represent a broker listed here, the page for brokers explains how to claim the listing and what you can change once you have.
