How we make money
Affiliate commission from some of the brokers listed here, paid when a reader opens an account through our link, and advertising bought by the month. It costs you nothing either way.

The arrangement
When you follow one of our outbound links to a broker and go on to open an account, that broker may pay us a commission. The broker pays it out of its own marketing budget; your spread, your commission and your deposit are identical to what you would get by typing the broker's address in directly.
19 of the 100 brokers in this database have that arrangement with us. The other 81 earn us nothing and are researched and rated the same way.
Advertising
Brokers can also buy a labelled advertising slot in the sidebar of our review pages, billed monthly. Every one carries the word Advertisement above it, in the page's own markup rather than added afterwards by a script, so it is labelled even if the banner itself never loads. The terms are on the advertising page.
What it buys
A link, or a box on a page. Neither buys a score, a position in this database, or the removal of an accurate fact from a review.
